Yet its origins are far more humble. Former Florida state senator Philip Lewis used the land on which Atlantis is built – then known as Mulberry Farms – as a grazing ground for Brahman cattle. In 1958, real estate developers purchased the 834-hectare plot to begin developing a residential community, and the city was incorporated a year later. Construction of Atlantis’ first golf course soon followed, and today, Atlantis is a golfers’ paradise for its 2,000 residents, who have both the Atlantis Country Club and the Lost City Golf Clubs right on their doorsteps.

I had work done for a leak which was repaired. As a consequence, the cold water pressure in the master bathroom was not coming out properly - which I realized after the repair. First of all, I was able to get an appointment within a day-so I am really grateful for that. Walter came in and was very friendly and professional. I have an old toilet that wasn't flushing. It needed one part, The piece was shredded. He went to check if he had that part in his truck and thankfully he had literally, the last one!!
