Inspection of water heater

Needed a drip pan for my water heater. Wade came on time, had all the necessary parts and tools finished the job quickly, and left everything clean and organized when he was done. Excellent job, and he also gave me several tips, which I found quite valuable. Will definitely be asking for Wade next time! Used them again because I had an issue with my electrical panel. I was worried it would end up being a full replacement, which I cannot afford at the moment. Donnie was awesome! Friendly, and walked me through all the options, was welcoming to all my questions. And in the end he fixed the problem quickly with no new panel. Also told me about having the panel refurbished, which I didn't know about. I'll be calling Donnie back to do that soon. I now feel very safe that my electrical panel won't cause me a problem. Thanks, Donnie! Very professional!

I think that John did a terrific job (and I used to be a salesman and then contractor.) The $6,000.00 quote to dig a hole and install 4" hard rubber wasa little pricey. I got a quote from a backhoe company for $475.00 to dig and backfill the hole . . . that is 1/6th of the quoted price . . . and it isn't difficult to install the 4" rubber coupling for repair.

The annual maintenance plan covers several areas (plumbing, AC, and electrical systems) and it is reasonably priced. I am extremely pleased with this service.

Art Plumbing - Used to be a great company, it has gone way down hill, they think the answer is an AI Bot answering the phones instead of a real human- their lack of caring about the customer is truly disappointing. When you do get a human, especially in dispatch they are rude, they change your appointment day and times over and over again, how do we get the old company back again?

I seem to be doing this a lot lately, LOL, and I'm happy to do it. Corey came to do our sewer inspection today. I don't know how Art does it, but the employees of your organization are above and beyond, Corey was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. He made something not so interesting to be laughable and fun. He was fun to be around, He's just another example of the many that keep us with Art.

The technicians Jon & Jamel and the entire staff were so pleasant and informative!

After a previous annual inspection where Damian had identified and quoted replacement of our hard-wired smoke detectors, he arrived this morning (on time and cheerful) to do the work. All told, he replaced 9 hard-wired and added 1 battery-powered (10-year sealed) detectors. The detectors were original to the house (20 years old) and 10 years overdue for replacement. The additional battery-powered detector satisfied a code change (for an office). All work was done within 80 minutes including cleanup of the inevitable plaster dust when replacing ceiling-mounted fixtures. The price was more than fair. Needless to say, we're happy with the quality of the work and the ease of working with Art Plumbing AC & Electric! 8 March 2023 - Jonathan came for two simple,in-principle but trivky-in-reality jobs: * Replacing a shower trim kit * Replacing an outside hose bib For the shower work, you normally remove a single set screw, pull the handle off, unscrew two bolts hold do ing the trim plate to the actual valve. I could do that. *But* the set screw was corroded in place. Jonathan attempted a wide range of Allen keys and ways to increase the torque applied - to no avail. He resorted to a hacksaw and carefully dismembered the handle and removed the pieces and was able to complete the task without damaging to he valves or pipes. TL/DR: he hacked it with his steely hacksaw and he *did* kill the beast! 4 June 2025 - Donnie came for an annual electrical inspection. He worked from the outside (meter, exterior panel, pool sub panel, external outlets, main distribution panel in garage) in (outlets, switches, visual inspection of fans, lights). Since Art Plumbing has been maintaining the mechanicals here for 8 years, the only item was a 30 Amp breaker running anomalously "hot" (via infrared camera). He quoted (and I accepted) the proposal to replace the breaker (and tighten the electrical connections while he was working in the panel). All done quickly (with an "after" infrared photo showing the anomaly is gone).

Very professional and uses the support of management to get your request right the first time

My roof-top air conditioner stopped working about two weeks ago. I called Art Air Conditioning and a wonderful young man named John Amaya came and worked in the hot sun and found the problem. He left no stones unturned and found the problem which took a couple of hours. He had to order a new part and I expected it to take a week but in three days he showed up and installed it and now I'm cool again. John is an excellent worker, he knows the ins and outs of these machines and he looked closely over every wire and piece. He really knew his stuff and on top of it he was very cordial and polite and explained everything in detail. You don't find someone like this all the time. A real professional, a polite person who explains everything and Art is lucky to have him and so am I.

John Payton did a amazing job doing the camera inspection to find where the blockage was. He is very professional. 100% recommended. He also explained in detail what he saw through the camera.

I had an emergency with my air conditioner and tried to book an appointment this morning, but all the time slots were taken. However, they kindly called me back and were able to fit me in for today to get it fixed. Luis provided me with all the realistic options to repair the unit and did an excellent, professional job.
