At its core, it starts with a family—but it thrives through generations of dedication, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to serving the community. At Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric, that legacy spans over four generations and more than 40 years of trusted service in South Florida.

Our story begins in the early 1900s with Alfred D’Attile, a skilled plumber in New York, who laid the foundation for what would become a family tradition of excellence in the trade. His son, Arthur D’Attile, followed in his footsteps, mastering the craft and instilling a passion for the profession in his own son, Gregg. In the early 1980s, Arthur and his wife, Marie, along with their 21-year-old son Gregg, relocated from the Northeast to Coral Springs in South Florida, determined to build a new future. Arthur earned his Broward County Master Plumbers License, and on August 15, 1983, the family launched Art Plumbing.

Gregg, driven by a passion for success, went door-to-door securing the company’s first projects—including Steven David’s Hair Salon (a client we still proudly serve today!). From there, the company expanded, taking on residential, commercial, and municipal plumbing projects for new construction across South Florida.

By 1990, South Florida, especially Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, had become a major urban hub with booming residential and commercial real estate. Recognizing a growing need for home service solutions, we shifted our focus to service, repair, drain cleaning, and system maintenance.

As the industry evolved, so did the D’Attile family, carrying forward their expertise and commitment to quality service. In 1996, we added air conditioning and indoor air quality services, and later electrical services, becoming Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric—a full-service home solutions provider.

Today, the legacy lives on through Gregg’s sons, Matt and Chris, along with Gregg’s nephew, Arthur. Their leadership and dedication ensure that Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric continues to uphold the same principles of integrity, reliability, and superior workmanship that have defined the company for decades. More than just a business, it’s a family-driven mission to provide the highest level of service and care to every customer, just as they would for their own family.
