Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric began in 1983 as a small, family-run business with a big dream: to redefine home services in South Florida through honesty, skill, and dedication. What does it truly mean to be a family-owned business? At its core, it starts with a family—but it thrives through generations of dedication, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to serving the community. At Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric, that legacy spans over four generations and more than 40 years of trusted service in South Florida.

Our story begins in the early 1900s with Alfred D’Attile, a skilled plumber in New York, who laid the foundation for what would become a family tradition of excellence in the trade. His son, Arthur D’Attile, followed in his footsteps, mastering the craft and instilling a passion for the profession in his own son, Gregg. In the early 1980s, Arthur and his wife, Marie, along with their 21-year-old son Gregg, relocated from the Northeast to Coral Springs in South Florida, determined to build a new future. Arthur earned his Broward County Master Plumbers License, and on August 15, 1983, the family launched Art Plumbing.

Gregg, driven by a passion for success, went door-to-door securing the company’s first projects—including Steven David’s Hair Salon (a client we still proudly serve today!). From there, the company expanded, taking on residential, commercial, and municipal plumbing projects for new construction across South Florida.

By 1990, South Florida, especially Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, had become a major urban hub with booming residential and commercial real estate. Recognizing a growing need for home service solutions, we shifted our focus to service, repair, drain cleaning, and system maintenance.

As the industry evolved, so did the D’Attile family, carrying forward their expertise and commitment to quality service. In 1996, we added air conditioning and indoor air quality services, and later electrical services, becoming Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric—a full-service home solutions provider.

Today, the legacy lives on through Gregg’s sons, Matt and Chris, along with Gregg’s nephew, Arthur. Their leadership and dedication ensure that Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric continues to uphold the same principles of integrity, reliability, and superior workmanship that have defined the company for decades. More than just a business, it’s a family-driven mission to provide the highest level of service and care to every customer, just as they would for their own family.

Jacob T. and Davain A. at Art Plumbing Air Conditioning & Electric did an amazing job replacing our 26 year old electrical panel. The entire process was seamless from the permit, coordinating FPL power shut off, replacing the electrical panel, getting the inspection and finally FPL turning the power back on. The team was professional and addressed all of my concerns pre and during the job. I would recommend them.

Excellent service and professional technicality and customer service oriented. Resolved issues with professional resolution which is rare in South Florida. Very knowledge and pointed out issues that were not discovered by previous inspection. This company is absolutely Amazing, i recently bought and installedmy new Lennox HVAC from them....they work directly with Home Depot as an extension of them and are super professional with best prices and warranties and an incredible crew that will make sure you are satisfied 💯 ..ask for Jeff Krause in sales he will personally come to you house and explain every aspect of the process in detail.
Once again we will recommend ART and will use them again in future.Machal from technical support was unbelievable awesome and a true professional.

Jocelyn did an extensive leak check and found that there were no signs of wetness inside the walls, etc. The next day the old fashioned spigots in a shower were replaced with a product that she welded together, explaining why the new items were so much less likely to cause problems.

Jocelyn showed so much enthusiasm for her work, answered my many questions with knowledge, was professional through and through, and cleaned up after herself. She convinced me that it was better to spend a bit more money to buy the products from Art’s Plumbing, etc. rather than a big box store in order to get a longer warranty. If you need a great plumber, and want to have your faith restored in her generation, ask for Jocelyn. You will not be disappointed.

These guys were great. Very friendly, professional and did a great job installing a new water heater. We ran into some unforeseen electrical issues that need addressing but they set me up with an electrician as quickly as possible. Overall I am satisfied with my experience thus far with Art Plumbing and Terrence.
Update: 2 weeks later, we noticed the water wasn't getting hot enough. Terrence came back to adjust it. When he did, he spotted leaks in the new unit. He persisted to get us another new replacement heater immediately, which he then also installed at no extra charge. This meant readjusting all the new pipe work he had just upgraded two weeks earlier. I couldn't asked for better service. Terrence was awesome. Thank you again.

David H. was awesome. Very courteous individual that works with you and also takes the time to explain things and make sure you understand what ia going on. I will absolutely be calling for any future plumbing issues.

Wanted to update regarding Eric J., Shaq, and John S. coming out to get me situated with the repair snd taking great care of me to resolve the issue so that I could get working plumbing again. David continued to keep in contact with me to ensure everything went as needed. After seeing and experiencing everything this company did to take care of me and my issue they will continue to be the plumbing company I will use for any service. Considering they handle A/C [a must in South FL heat] and electrical too, I will likely reach out to them regarding any future endeavors for those as well. Thank you all very much.
