Show Me The Money
Welcome back everyone to another Friday! Let us flashback to Monday of this week, January 18th, which apparently is the most depressing day of the year. This fact was unbeknownst to your loquacious author until quite recently. I did a little research only to discover that Kevin Costner was born on that date in 1955, the first X-ray machine was displayed in 1896, and it was Royal Armed Forces Day in Thailand. The theory that last Monday was the most depressing day of the year is formed around the fact that most of the credit card bills hit the mailbox last Monday and it dawned on the collective we how much money we spent over the holidays, and now it is time to pay the proverbial piper.
So you are at your computer doing your online bill pay, or at your desk writing checks (does anyone still do that?) and there is a terrible noise from the area where the air conditioner lives. First thought through your head is great; just what I need is an air conditioner repair, or worse, what if it needs to be replaced. The instant next thought is I just spent all this money and can’t afford another big expense at this moment. The timing just couldn’t be any worse, so the question becomes, now what?
You pull out your mobile and hit the speed dial button for Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical (you do have 1-888-TELL-ART programmed into your phone right?) and one of our friendly service techs is on his way. Your worst fears unfortunately have come true, and you need a new air conditioning system for the house. Once again, Art to the rescue with one of our newest partners – GreenSky Financial Services.
GreenSky can take a $5,000 project and get you a monthly payment as low as $87 per month. They have programs to fit different credit scores and payment needs, so that big expense is not so scary. They even have a 12-month no interest option with equal monthly payments. I don’t know about you, but using someone else’s money for 12 months for free sounds way better than breaking out the checkbook or dipping into the retirement fund to take care of that new air conditioner.
I can say with some certainty that no one out there woke up this morning and said “Gee – I really want to make a major repair to my house.” Home repairs are never exciting, especially when they are unexpected. All of us here at Art Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical understand that and want to help every way we can.
Once again if you need us I’m an email away at THW@artplumbingandac.com – you can schedule us online at our website www.artplumbingandac.com or gives us a jingle by hitting that speed dial button. See you next week.
