Tune-Up Time

Welcome back my friends, we made it through another week, and Friday is finally here. Woo-hoo for the weekend!

Did you know that at the time of this article we are less than four weeks away from rolling the clocks forward and the much-anticipated first day of spring? I know that spring has a much bigger meaning to our friends up north than it does here. While they are just starting to thaw out, and the snows are melting away, our spring here in the Sunshine state just means it is about to be hot, humid, & muggy again.

I don’t think we should get to call it spring, as it just goes from the lovely weather we have been enjoying the last few weeks, to wow summer is here already. To me it seems like it happens overnight, Mother Nature wakes up one morning and says ok turn on the heat. That said. it is also time to start thinking about getting your AC system in shape for the long hard workload it is about to go through.

I can’t explain this, however, when it comes to AC maintenance, people just don’t think about doing it until something breaks, or the unit stops cooling. You change the oil in your car, your go to the doctor every year for your physical, you paint your house. Why is the AC system the forgotten one? My theory is that you don’t see it every day, at best you see it once a month when you change the filters, so out of sight out of mind. I would love any feedback you, my friends, could give me on this, as this is the best theory I’ve come up with for the why.

Ok you agree with me it’s time for a tune up on the most important machine in your house, as far as I’m concerned. It doesn’t get much better than having a cool castle to come home to especially for those of us that work outside for the most part. The $69 dollars that you spend now to have us check out your AC system becomes priceless if it helps prevent a no cooling situation in the middle of July.

One of our awesome service guys will clean your drain line, service the coils, check the amp draws and pressures, change your filter, and visually inspect all electrical components. We will do everything we can to make sure your unit is performing at its best. Again I would rather know that a contactor is on its way out and take care of the issue now on my schedule, versus the surprise factor and having to rush around in mid-July to get it replaced. Maintenance is also the best way to make sure you get the most life out of your AC system.
