Welcome everyone! Today my friends, is a real milestone for me in that this is my 100th post. I can’t begin to tell you how surreal that seems to me. I don’t remember how the idea came about to do this and frankly I wasn’t sure that I could do it at all. I knew as an HVAC professional that I had a ton of knowledge I wanted to share with our friends and clients alike, however putting that into the written word seemed a daunting task. As the ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu is quoted as saying, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”, and in this case the journey to over 60,000 words began with a single article about the hazards rodents could present when invading an attic in the typical single family home.
I re-read that article the other day and you could certainly tell from the writing that I was just learning what it took to be a successful blogger. In the beginning it was a real struggle for me to put words together in a way that made the point, didn’t get too technical, and hopefully left you the reader with a little more knowledge than you had before you took your precious time to read my musings. You have my heartfelt thanks that you do spend a few minutes every week to check in on what is happening here in the world of Art Plumbing, AC and Electric.
As for the aforementioned surreal part, I find it so odd when someone recognizes me, which happened again the other day while checking out at my local Walgreens. The lovely young lady behind the counter said, “Hey you were in my Facebook feed this morning, you write that blog for Art Plumbing right?” As a blogger you put the words out in cyberspace and hope for the best, so I enjoy getting the feedback that I’m actually reaching people, that’s the driving force that sets me down at this keyboard each week.
Alright, that’s enough pontificating for one day. I’m setting my sights on the next milestone of my 250th post, full steam ahead. If you have a topic you would like to hear from me on please drop me an email at THW@artplumbingandac.com or, just shoot me a note to say hello, either way make it a great day and until next time, thank you again my friends for being here.
